My love for water fowling started at the age of five, when I started hunting the Mississippi River with my Dad, Woody Campbell. Dad was noted as one of the best callers around. I can still remember how he would "sweet talk" one bunch of ducks and "demand" the next. I learned how to "read" the ducks from guys like Dad and Charlie Poisel.
As an electronic technician at J.I. Case, I had the opportunity to work with various types of lathes and was always messing around with different materials and designs.

In the early 90’s, I purchased the Otter Decoy Company along with a couple of buddies. When we sold the decoy company a few years later, I had the time AND a name to give the calls.
I run a small operation and my goal is producing the best sounding... AND looking calls for my customers. I hope to pass my passion for the waterfowl on to my 3yr old grandson, who already has two seasons under his small belt.
